Furniture? You bencha!

(*Get it?) No project is too small for us. In fact, great things come in small packages we hear. Craftsmanship and attention to detail are familiar concepts to our team, so it only makes sense that we enjoy a good “furniture fling.” Yes, we coined that term. Many times these projects are part of a larger scope for us, but we think they deserve their own moment in the sun. And hey, now you know you can get that 20’ cast titanium table with the custom ‘sunrise’ patina that keeps you awake at night.

*It’s a combo of Bench and Betcha, ok?!

“…elephant and fungi. You know what we mean mushroom heads.”

As we mentioned back on the ‘ol homepage, we love design. Not just one kind, but ALLLLLLL of them. With that mindset, we take an all encompassing, holistic approach to each of our projects. That includes taking on the challenge of designing furniture which, in our minds, is a highly considered piece of artwork. We like to actively shift our mindset between entire architectural spaces and the smaller scale world of objects + furniture. It’s different, but it’s all connected by a giant invisible network that links all design. It’s like the extreme difference but interconnectedness of, say, an Elephant and fungi. You know what we mean mushroom heads.

Material Love

Listen, we might have our favorite material types, but there is a time and place for each. Except for styrofoam. Terrible stuff. Toxic. But there’s this factory in Mexico who figured out how to recycle it. Very exciting! Anyway, back to furniture. Our backgrounds and project experience bring us to this moment, with you, dear client. We have had the opportunity to work with Every. Material. Ever. Not much exaggeration to that statement … So even though we doubt you’ll want a gingerbread table, if you did, we could make it and we already have the details worked out.
